Media Accreditation for Betway SA20 Season 5 open

Media accreditation for Season 5 of Betway SA20 opens today. The fifth season gets under way on 17 January 2027, with the Final at Newlands in Cape Town on 21 February 2027.

Non-rights-holding written press, photographers, TV and radio broadcasters are invited to apply via the online portal HERE.

This initial application phase covers all group stage matches scheduled at the Wanderers, SuperSport Park, Kingsmead, St George's Park, Boland Park and Newlands.

Accreditation for the Playoff matches and the Final will open at a later stage.

Applications for accreditation close at 17h00 (SAST) on Friday, 8 January 2027.

Personal information submitted with your application will be used solely for accreditation purposes and handled in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Betway SA20 will provide live match photography through its in-house photography team only, and no other photographers or agencies will be permitted to capture images during matches. Rights-free match-day images, together with video of pre-match and post-match press conferences, interviews, player headshots and training sessions, will be available for editorial use across print, online and broadcast platforms via the SA20 Media Portal. This is the only platform for accessing rights-free content from Betway SA20, and media can register for access HERE.

International media travelling to South Africa must secure the necessary visa to work in the country.
