Star-studded commentary line-up for Betway SA20 Season 3

Globally-recognised former cricketers Stuart Broad, Robin Uthappa, AB de Villiers and Kevin Pietersen will entertain from the SuperSport commentary box when Betway SA20 starts for the highly anticipated Season 3, starting 9 January 2025 to 8 February 2025.

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup winner, Broad, is ready to deliver top-tier entertainment during the third edition of Africa’s premier international T20 franchise competition. Broad began his commentary career with SuperSport following his retirement from cricket in 2023, becoming one of the headline analysts during Betway SA20 Season 2.

2007 T20 World Cup winner Robin Uthappa will also form part of this year’s glittering English language panel. The former India T20 international batter brings a wealth of knowledge of the 20-over game having completed a stellar Indian Premier League career, chiefly with Kolkata Knight Riders as well as Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.

Other prominent analysts include former Proteas T20 all-rounder, Chris Morris, and former Proteas captains Shaun Pollock and Ashwell Prince. Recognised as one of the voices of the sport globally, Mpumelelo “Pommie” Mbangwa will also be in the commentary box to treat viewers to his distinguished voice and expert commentary.

The competition will also see the homecoming of Premier League presenter and anchor, Julia Stuart, to cover the anticipated games from the boundary ropes and in the stands, where passionate fans will be engrossed in world-class entertainment.

As was the case for Season 1 and 2, Your World of Champions has again gone to great lengths to deliver to fans an unforgettable experience in Betway SA20 Season 3.

Award-winning sports broadcaster, Motshidisi Mohono, renowned for her sharp insights and engaging demeanour, is also set to rejoin the SuperSport line-up for Betway SA20. Mohono will be alongside SuperSport’s latest addition to its cricket team, Natalie Germanos, as well as household favourites Mark Nicholas and Mike Haysman.

All games will be broadcast live on SuperSport Cricket, DStv channel 212, with highlights available on DStv Catch Up. All matches will be available in English, Afrikaans, and isiXhosa commentary.
